Friends Ambulance Unit

Tells the story of Quakers who offered medical and humanitarian help during wartime, especially WWI, without supporting the war effort itself.

EAPPI – Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel

A peace and human rights programme that includes many Quakers. Volunteers spend time in Palestine and Israel supporting nonviolence and human dignity.

A programme encouraging churches to take action on environmental sustainability. Many Quaker Meetings, including ours, are involved in this work.

City of Sanctuary

A network supporting refugees and asylum seekers. While not specifically Quaker, many Quaker groups (including Nottingham Meeting) support this work as part of our peace and equality witness.
